Lockwood Community Center Roof: Monterey County Approved $14,000 Reimbursement to Local Association

LOCKWOOD, Monterey County — October 29, 2026. The Lockwood Community Center has a documented county funding decision supporting upkeep of a facility used for local gatherings. On June 24, 2025, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors approved $14,000 from District 3 discretionary funds to reimburse the San Antonio Community Betterment Association for costs incurred in maintaining and replacing the center’s roof.
